Change is never easy. That’s why the Weight Management Program gives your entire family helpful resources to assist in the shift toward a healthy lifestyle. We welcome children, parents and siblings to learn about the importance of nutrition and regular physical activity with fun, engaging and interesting lessons.
Classes focus on the importance of healthy food choices and fun physical activities. Each week, families will set goals with their program leader.

Our long-standing partnership with the YMCA of Dallas brings our Weight Management Program to convenient locations across the region. This allows you to fit classes into your family’s busy schedule – and makes it easier to make healthy changes happen.
Get started on your family’s journey to healthy habits
A referral from your child’s health care provider is required to participate in our Weight Management Program. The program is for children ages 6-14 who have a high body weight with a BMI over the 85th percentile. Ask your child’s provider to complete a referral form and fax it to 214-456-0194. Classes are offered in English and Spanish and are offered virtually.
